Christian learning is a lifelong experience. As we learn our faith continues to grow and strengthen. Good Shepherd’s educational ministries include programs for all ages to learn and grow in faith.

Family Faith Journey
IMG_3273 Rally dayv3Family Faith Journey allows families with children can grow in faith together. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to join children in lively worship, Bible based learning, and creative projects.

Each month includes a family worship service with music and education on how and why we worship as Lutherans.

Family Faith Journey brings Bible stories to life through interactive drama, crafts, and worship.

A three year confirmation program is available for students in 7th though 9th grade.  Students study the sacraments, prayer, and Luther’s Small Catechism.  During the third year, students are matched up with a mentor to help continue their faith journey. Please contact one of our pastors for more information on our confirmation program.

Adult Forum
The adult forum is an opportunity for adults of all ages to learn and grow in faith through Bible study, faith education, and open discussion about our faith. The 2014/2015 forum will concentrate on the 132 minor festivals that celebrate special people and events in the church year. The forum takes place every Sunday at 9:45 am.

Vacation Bible School
Each year our sanctuary is transformed with a unique theme to host our Vacation Bible School program.  Children learn through music, interactive drama, and crafts.  Even snack time contains a special lesson. Many volunteers take part to make this a extraordinary event for children from Pre-School through sixth grade.
