Reading Room

The Reading Room is a ministry of Good Shepherd to provide children in grades K-4 the opportunity to improve their reading. Volunteers work one on one with each child to improve reading skills. Children also participate in fun group activites developed to help improve word recognition and forming sentences. Volunteers can also assist children with schoolwork from any subject. A library of books is also available for children to take a book home each week.

The program meets on Wednesday Evenings from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

The Reading Room is open to all children regardless of religious beliefs or affiliation. Please contact the church office at (570) 824-2991 if you have any questions.
